Dr. Matthew Kelly

Matthew E. Kelly received his doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in December 2012. He graduated from St. John Fisher College in 2009, majoring in Biology and minoring in psychology. He was on the Dean's list at both colleges. Dr. Kelly received the Liberio A Violini Distinguished Service Health Center Award, which is given to the individuals who exemplify selflessness and dedication to service to and within the Health Center at NewYork Chiropractic College.

At NYCC Dr. Kelly received advanced training in Sports Science and Human Performance. Matt is certified in ART (Active-Release Technique) and SFMA(Selective Functional Movement Screening). He also uses Kineseo Tape, Rock Tape and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue tools. Matt is passionate about mobility and rehab, having strained his own hamstring playing college football, and seeing impressive rehabilitation results from the implementation of chiropractic care.

Active his entire life, Matt enjoys working with athletes. His athletic career started early with baseball, football, and hockey; he played baseball and football at Aquinas high school and four years of football at St. John Fisher. He is currently an avid CrossFitter, and competed at the North East CrossFit Regionals in May 2012.
In his free time, Matt enjoys watching football and other sports. He also appreciates movies, listening to music, and learning as much as he can about chiropractic care. Matt is a Rochester native and currently maintains a residence in the city of Rochester.
