Updike Chiropractic
I grew up in a small community just north of LaCrosse, WI. Growing up I was active in many sports and outdoor activities and this is one of the main reason I chose to become a Chiropractor. I was injured while playing baseball in 7th grade and was missing a lot of time on the field. My parents took the conventional route of taking me to the medical doctor, where the only option they gave was pain killers and muscle relaxers. Luckily, my parents wanted a better answer than that and eventually were directed to a Chiropractor. After months of missed time on the field I began seeing a Chiropractor. Within weeks of starting care I was back on the field and doing things a normal 7th grader should be doing. I knew from that day on that I wanted to help other people the way I was helped with Chiropractic.
I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. There, I began to understand the direct relationship between a properly functioning nervous system and a healthy body. During my time at Palmer I also had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the greatest minds in the chiropractic profession. Most importantly, I learned the world renowned Gonstead System of Chiropractic. The Gonstead System has given me the skills and confidence to address some of the most difficult chiropractic cases.
Due to these profound experiences, I have specialized in Gonstead Chiropractic and Paleo nutrition. By making sure our nervous system is functioning optimally, by feeding our bodies the foods we were designed to eat and be eliminating the consumption of toxins and poisons found in processed foods and drugs we can live the life we were meant and deserve to live.
