Background

Along with being a Doctor of Chiropractic and a CrossFit Trainer, Dr. Genie has also been competing as a fitness competitor with the NPC since 2006, she is currently competing at the national level. After struggling through many illnesses, battling with her own weight and health - competing in fitness and following a "competition" diet worked very well for her, but still she faced problems with food. In 2009, she started following a gluten free diet with great success and less problems in regard to her health. Her research to improve her own health led her toward following a paleo diet which was a simple transition from competition diets and once evolving to that, she hasn't looked back. CrossFit training was a perfect fit for both proper bio- mechanics in terms of following her Chiropractic philosophy and efficiency in training for competition.
She has found that patients that follow this sort of evolutionary diet and exercise regiment have a significantly improved response to care bio-mechanically as well as neurologically and physiologically.
