Dr. Miro Bandalo is a lifelong student of the human body and health. He has been preparing since his undergraduate program to help change Middle Tennessee into a healthier community through the practice of specific, scientific, effective, natural, and affordable chiropractic care. During those studies, he also learned about Functional Neurology, and is in the process of becoming a diplomate with the prestigious Carrick Institute. The term "doctor" comes from a Latin root "docere," which literally means "teacher," and Dr. Miro takes that implication to heart. His passion is to educate and empower his patients to make smart health choices, including optimization of one's inborn ability to heal, given to us for free by divine providence, found within the human nervous system.
Dr. Miro's experience with the effectiveness of chiropractic came as a result of several months of headaches, neck pain, lack of energy, including depression like symptoms. As a result of chiropractic care, Dr. Miro's symptoms went away and he was able to continue competing in the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, helping him realize how chiropractic can change the lives of millions of others, and inspiring him to become a health force in Middle Tennessee. Since then, Dr. Miro has worked with Olympic athletes, marathoners, and world champions in several sports, as well as numerous pregnancies and infants (youngest being 3 days old), practice members with ADD/ADHD, Down Syndrome, Bipolar disorder et al.
Dr. Miro lives in College Grove with his wife Heather, and children Adriana (age 4) and Mate (18 months).
