After completing medical school and family medicine residency, I completed a fellowship in sports medicine. After working in orthopedics for a few years, I discovered the importance of functional movement in addition to proper diet and nutrition for my own personal wellness as well as that of my patients. I now eat a mostly Paleo diet with emphasis on no processed foods, no dairy, no processed sugar and large amounts of fish. I now regularly run half-marathons, train with Russian Kettlebells, and bike and feel great.
