Rob Wilson, MS, APRN-CNP is a Functional Medicine Clinician & Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Rob approaches healthcare through a Functional Medicine lens and is a graduate of the Institute for Functional Medicine's (IFM) program, Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP) and is working toward the rigorous certification process of becoming an IFM Certified Practitioner. In addition, Rob has received further training in Functional Medicine, specifically in methylation and nutrigenomics from Seeking Health Educational Institute (SHEI). He is also enrolled in the Kresser Institute for Functional and Evolutionary Medicine's year long comprehensive training program. He will be one of only 200 healthcare clinicians worldwide to graduate from this hallmark program, created by world renowned Functional Medicine clinician and educator, Chris Kresser. Rob is also an avid self learner and is constantly reading books, articles and research studies in addition to watching webinars, performing online study and attending conferences to educate himself in order to provide the best possible care for his patients.
Functional Medicine addresses the whole person, not just isolated symptoms, in order to get to the root of the problem. It is an approach that asks why, instead of simply matching a symptom or diagnosis with a particular treatment. Functional Medicine is a science based approach that digs deeper.
