Marci Zavala, MSPT

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. I was a competitive gymnast for 8 years. I moved to Reno after graduating from high school in 1992 to attend UNR and earn my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. Then I went on to Pacific University and graduated with a Master in Science of Physical Therapy in 1996. I returned to Reno because I loved the climate and year round diversity of outdoor activities. I enjoy trail and road running, water skiing, snow skiing, and exploring the many trails in our area.
I am married to a local physician (who has a concierge/boutique service) and have two amazing boys.

Physical therapy: stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord rehabilitation, sports-related injury recovery, myofascial release, muscle energy, NDT, post-orthopedic surgery rehab, trigger point therapy.
Personal training: I have a unique perspective as a PT to create and implement a well rounded, health focused program for those wanting to achieve personal fitness goals (including but not limited to running schedules and triathlon training programs)

BS in Health Science, minor in Japanese (1996)
Master in Science of Physical Therapy (1999)
