Dr. Michelle MacCarthy D.C.
While completing her business degree from Eastern Washington University in 2002, Michelle MacCarthy began a search for ways to minimize the debilitating pain her body was experiencing as a result of her active involvement in team sports. She was healthy, but suffered from chronic upper and lower back pain, her feet ached miserably and she struggled with a form of asthma that severely limited her breathing; she also suffered from allergies and was forced to take an array of medications. Her search led her to discover an important and highly recognized form of chiropractic help based on Network Spinal Analysis and Somato Respiratory Integration.
The new therapy produced a dramatic change: Michelle’s once chronic upper and lower back pain began to disappear, the pain in her feet that made it difficult to play sports and walk began to subside. No longer affected by allergies, she stopped taking medications, and even her dependence on prescription eyeglass ended.
Greatly inspired by the work of Dr. Donald Epstein, the develop of Network Spinal Analysis, Michelle then enrolled in New College of California in San Francisco and then Life West Chiropractic College in Hayward, CA, an internationally recognized school for chiropractic training, to become a doctor of chiropractic. She earned her post-graduate degree in Doctor of Chiropractic and became Dr. Michelle MacCarthy in 2008.
Michelle is a Level 2 Certified Network Spinal Analysis, SRI and Wellness Educator. She believes this form of healing care is beneficial because it is not invasive. The body, she believes, only needs a whisper to make huge changes. Michelle participated in numerous training seminars with Dr. Donald Epstein, the developer of Network Spinal Analysis. Dr. Epstein’s models for health and wellness and human development are now used in many professional settings to benefit workers in multiple industries, Government employees, and corporate teams.
Michelle’s goal is to build a strong community of people who value their health and who feel empowered to understand how they are affected by the world around them.
