Dr. Leah Collier, ND
Dr. Collier is a licensed Naturopathic Physician specializing in women’s wellness and autoimmune disorders, including Rheumatoid arthritis. Her passion for helping patients with autoimmune disorders comes from her own recovery from Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) using natural remedies.
When she was 17, Dr. Collier was diagnosed with RA. After being treated with conventional medicine, she felt worse and decided to research treatment. She found naturopathic medicine and relief from pain; she wanted others to feel the same relief.
As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Collier finds the cause of her patients’ pain or discomfort. She treats with natural remedies, such as nutrient IVs, homeopathy, and food allergy testing, in place of pharmaceutical medication. In cases where it is necessary, she is trained and will treat with traditional methods.
Dr. Collier has extensive training in Constitutional Homeopathy. She has studied with renowned homeopathic experts Dr. Stephen Messer, ND and Dr. Andree Saine, ND. Homeopathy is one of the most personalized, natural treatments to stimulate the body’s natural healing. She serves as Primary Care Provider for patients of all ages and who suffer from a multitude of medical conditions.
In addition to treating RA patients, Dr. Collier successfully treats patients with a variety of women’s wellness and gastrointestinal issues. Common conditions include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), menopause, PMS, fibroids, fertility, detoxification, migraines, acne, hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, IBS, and other issues.
Growing up in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she studied biology at Penn State University. Upon graduation, she came to Arizona and attended the Southwest School of Naturopathic Medicine, where she graduated Salutatorian.
In her spare time, she enjoys time with her husband, Dr. Brent Cameron, and their dogs. They enjoy hiking and camping. She also enjoys singing, dancing, archery, and being involved in animal rescues.
