Profile anderson family

Houston C. Anderson, DC, MS, CNS

Born and raised in Arizona, the Valley of the Sun is home to me and my family. I graduated from Arizona State University and continued my doctoral education at Logan University in St. Louis. Our family focuses on living a well-rounded holistic lifestyle including diet, exercise and specific nutrition. For me personally a paleo-type diet is critical to feel my best and my children and wife have thrived on it as well.

My practice focuses on naturally healing from acute and chronic conditions. Most of my patients have seen other doctors without success and come to me as a last resort. While I would rather be the first resort, I accept the challenge and love to dig deep into difficult health conditions. Some of the conditions I work with include:

--Acute and chronic pain conditions > from the accident that just happened to the pain you’ve had for years that doesn’t respond to any other treatment.
--Hormonal imbalances (pre & post menopause women’s health issues, thyroid and adrenal disorders, PMS)
--Arthritic and autoimmune diseases
--Digestive disturbances (irritable bowel, food intolerances, heartburn, etc.)
--Low energy / fatigue (from not enough energy to chronic fatigue syndrome)
--Sleep difficulties / disturbances (insomnia, awakening in mid-sleep, night sweats, restlessness)
--Chemical sensitivities / food allergies
--Immune system dysfunctions – frequent colds & infections, chronic immune suppression issues
--Children, with a special understanding of those with developmental delays and Autism Spectrum Challenges
--Athletes, from the beginner to the elite; increasing performance, overcoming injuries (chronic and acute), preventing injuries, recovering faster

I hope to meet you soon!

As an athlete in high school and college, I went in search for a better way to approach the human body as a whole. While traditional methods were well accepted, I knew there had to be a better way. Adding in specific nutrition into my practice has been that better way.
