New Hope Functional Chiropractic
Dr. Austin grew up in Idabel, Oklahoma where he graduated valedictorian of his senior class in 2004. In the fall of 2004 he started his undergraduate education at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma (Go Pokes!) where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences in May 2008. A week after graduating from Oklahoma State, Dr. Austin started his pursuit for further education at Parker College of Chiropractic where he graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April 2011. Dr. Austin also just recently accepted a part-time adjunct faculty position at Northwest Arkansas Community College where he is teaching Anatomy and Physiology.
Dr. Austin's passion is helping people allow themselves to function better. He approaches this through chiropractic care, patient -specific nutritional supplements, specific dietary modifications and problem focused exercises and rehab, so that together he can help his patients understand how the body works and how they can keep it working not only properly but optimally.
He is extremely excited about teaching chiropractic, wellness and fitness concepts to the greater Rogers/Bentonville community and wants to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with as many individuals as possible.
Because of his passion to continually learn the latest scientifically and clinically relevant treatment measures, Dr. Austin has attended several post graduate education seminars both while at Parker and since graduating dealing in the topics of:
•Active therapeutic movement
•Instrument assisted soft tissue release
